Shipping & Returns
When you place an order, if the item is in stock, we dispatch goods on the same day upon receipt of payment. If an item is unavailable at the time of ordering, you will be notified by one of our team members.
Your order should be delivered in 2-5 business days (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra along with other major cities. ) Note: Deliveries to remote areas of Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania may take longer than 5 business days.
Please note: Express service does not guarantee next day delivery. Express freight can generally reduce delivery times to between 1-2 days depending on location. This is in addition to order processing time.
The shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The shipping cost will be calculated at the checkout. If the order is urgent, you may choose an Express service for an additional charge.
You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery with the original invoice as your proof of purchase for a full refund. You may also be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the goods was not your fault. If you prefer an alternative to a refund, we can arrange for goods to be exchanged or repaired.
We agree to accept product returns of standard stock line goods within a seven (7) day period under the following circumstances:
- Goods will only be accepted where they have been returned to Barcode-scanners.com.au in full resale condition (including instruction manuals) along with a copy of the original purchase invoice.
- Damage to, markings and loss of the original packaging may deem the product unsaleable and under these circumstances the return claim will be denied.
- A refund or credit will be provided less 15% of the total product cost charged as a handling/re-stocking fee. There will be no refund for costs associated with postage or freight as part of the original purchase or returns process.
Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
